Deacon Blue, closed?

Wow, already? I hope not. That location is kind of a no-man's-land, but after people's comments here I thought they were doing ok.
-
They've have a sign posted on their door...or at least they did a month ago...stating they are closed temporarily (end of Nov thru Feb, I think) for remodeling. Fingers crossed that they open again soon.

Honestly, I hope they close and something better opens in its place. The prices are outrageous, especially for brunch. The food is mediocre and often cold. The service is horrendous. Delivery takes nearly an hour. I was so excited for this place to open, its a complete disappointment.

I spoke to the owner sometime in December and he said that they were definitely reopening in Feb-- he didn't mention remodeling to me, he made it seem like vacation type thing.
Howdy, Stranger!
