Pat yourself on the back

This thread is for celebrating minor victories against the general mundanity of life.

I paid off one of my credit cards in full yesterday.

One down, one to go!

  • I managed to pay my rent on time and updated my security deposit. Oh, and I haven't played Johnny Paycheck's "Take this job and shove it" at work in at least a week!
  • I succeeded in rolling my fat butt out of bed before 12 PM today.
  • I won a free 20-oz. Coke product.
  • Last night, I coughed and coughed and coughed, and then I barfed.

    Impressive, no? :)
  • i skipped work yesterday and did drugs and watched TV all day
  • I sorted all of my tax receipts and started adding them up
  • I finally put a load of laundry in after i noticed i only had one pair of (checkered) socks left.


    and to top it all off, i'm gonna empty the ashtray on my windowsill. i know, wild night goin on here. someone call the cops.

  • I went to Union Hall and when parents weren't looking i loosened the wheels on all the strollers
  • I took my antibiotics even though I was washing them down with champagne ...
  • oh! on sunday, I picked up my laundry exactly 15 minutes before the place closed.
  • i woke up. the amount of effort i need to put into that alone deserves a salary and health insurance.
