Yep, if you're going to do a hero, best to use a condom.

Went in earlier; extremely friendly staff, sparkling clean but with less of a selection that I envisioned. If you enjoy bottled teas and whole wheat pasta then this is the bodega for you !
-
does anyone know what time they're closing now? the new canopy says 24 hours, but they were clearly closed when i walked by at 3am last night.
-
i asked about it yesterday, and they said they're working on 24 hours, but for now, closing around midnight.

It's a new store. Dude behind the counter says that they are working on staying open for 24 hours (they need more staff i guess?) and in regards to wanting to see more on the shelves, they are taking all suggestions. Also said that newspapers will eventually come, as well as magazines. I'm sure they will be more stocked by the spring, but i think that they got off to a good start and they did pretty good for their opening. Its up to us to let them know what we want! -
I went in on Friday night and was disappointed after hearing on this board about the owner's other store. I thought they would have more fresh stuff. Also their beer was totally warm and they want $12 for a six pack of Brooklyn....I know you pay moore for the convience and all, but that's pretty pricey. We walked out and went to our usual late night beer bodega at Underhill and Bergan. I do agree though that it's very clean.

they made me a damn good salami, mortadella and pepperoni sandwich on friday. and i think the kinda milk i buy is the same price there and at the met.

Funny. I go to these places all of the time. Even thought they are called delis, I forget about that part. I just see them as convenience stores. Glad to see that the food is really edible. I'll have to try it out. I am soooooooo happy it's open!!!

I would hope it's clean - it just opened. You people have really low expectations when you're surprised a newly opened deli is clean... -
Almost nothing in this neighborhood is clean
-
they are open 24 hours, just not in a row
