I am looking for a music studio where I can practice drums.

Any music studios around?

Thanks!

I know there's a place pretty close to the corner of St. Marks and Vanderbuilt. St. Marks between Vanderbuilt and Underhill closer to Vanderbuilt. I think it's on the North side of the street. Don't have the name and haven't been in there in about 4 months. I hope it still around...

I walk by it all the time I thought it was someone's private space. I checked out the website. I see the rent DJ equipment - do they also have DJ's there?

You might try a call to the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music:
    58 7th Ave, Brooklyn, 11217 - (718) 622-3300
If they don't have someone who teaches drums there, they may know someone who teaches in the area. It's a great place to learn all types of music on many instuments (and vocals!).
  • Yeah, i'm looking for a local place that has a piano and practice room so's I can practice for my upcoming concerts.....I'm too poor to buy a keyboard:( and don't want to rent a practice room from the NYU school of music....any tips are greatly appreciated.....such as the above mentioned one.....
  • Complete music is cool.. Every room has an *ok* keyboard.. should do the trick for ya.
