BARRETTE BAR IN PROSPECT HEIGHTS!

oh yes, barrette, its a great bar, good music, great selection of beer, cool bartenders, good food (serve late too) and oh yes oh yes the dancing girls! dancing is on tuesday, friday and saturday night. every time i go there the place seems more and more packed. always a good time!

Where is it located? Don't think i've ever seen it; definitely never been in.

Generally good times. I recommend the grilled cheese

i dont like this place because i met a girl there that had a raspy man-voice. it scared me.

I still haven't been, and it's so close to me (lame me!). So I take it that it really is all that?

Subject: Dancers Schedule

Hi--

I'm a dancer at Barrette and can give you the skinny on the new setup. They've been advertising the go-go as burlesque, though true burlesque fans know that it's not been that (go-go is NOT burlesque, folks). However, they're trying to move to a truer burlesque format, while keeping go-go in the background.

So, the new schedule is:

Tuesdays: 10-2 Go-Go Intermittently with two burlesque acts (using the whole bar as a stage) at 10:30 and 12:30

Fridays: 10-2 Go-Go Intermittently with two burlesque acts at 11PM and 1AM

Saturdays: TBD

First Fridays: GoGo from 10:30 to 3:00

You can see yours truly doing some burlesque on April 11th at the 11 and 1 spot and I'll be go-going April 18th from 10-2. I always work the 12:30-3 shift on First Fridays.

Barrette is a great bar and has a lot of awesome regulars. I'm a loyal freelancer. Hope to see some new friendly faces soon!
