  • I haven't been by there since it was just a menu in the window. Is the place open now?
  • Yes it is open. The redesign is lovely. The menu is small but the couscous I had was fabulous!
  • I was there on Saturday night. We had a great time. The food was excellent and they have hookah service after 11.
  • I'm intrigured. What's the address?
  • Subject: Address?

I'd also like to know where the place is. Anybody have an address?
  • I believe its 219 DeKalb Avenue
  • Subject: looking forward to it!!!

We're bringing the baby there early tomorrow eve (fair warning!!!). Looking forward to some good couscous and maybe a tagine!
  • Had a good time here Saturday eve. I had lamb tagine, wife and friends had couscous. I like Black Iris and Zaytoons is ok, but this is a big step up from either place - for one thing, it's Moroccan, not Lebanese, but also it's just a lot fancier, in both creativity, quality and prices (entrees run abt. $14-$20).

We went extra, extra early because we had our baby with us, but the place was hopping by the time we left around 7:30. Glad to see them get some business, and look forward to giving them more of our own. Owner was a nice enough guy, too.
  • Nice. I lived in Morocco for about six years so I'd love a good, real Moroccan restaurant. I can't wait to check it out.
  • We finally got a chance to try this place out and liked it.

Props to you for bringing your child there EARLY and not at 9 or 10 at night. Went to Luz a few weeks ago for a late dinner (we got there at 10) and the restaurant was packed, every table was full. And over the din of the bustling restaurant could be heard an toddler throwing a temper tantrum. At 10pm. For an hour. We didn't drop $150 on a romantic dinner and drinks to have it ruined by screaming. Completely unacceptable.
