Yes! Love that. I occasionally have a glass of wine on our stoop with my landlords who live upstairs. People stop and chat on their way here and there. Neighbors say hello. It's great. Me too. Although we usually drink our wine, when the weather gets warmer our favorite drink is: in a blender - 1 can of frozen pink lemonade, equal part vodka (although you can do a little more since your not driving home), ice cubes and voila Lemonade Slushee for the grown ups.

I think of a porch as a wooden structure that can hold a table and might be surrounded by a screen in the farm-fresh country.
