Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao - loan it to me?

Hi - excuse this odd request, but I've finally joined a book club that meets next Tuesday, and cannot find this book at any bookstore just now. I'm on the list to get it at the public library, but am currently at number 12 and don't know whether I'll be able to get a copy in time, considering it's 339 pages long!

Just wondering if any of my PH neighbors would consider lending this book to me. I'm a non-smoker, don't have a dog that would chew on it, and take excellent care of books...
