Subject: does anyone have an alt # for joe's laundry?

he's absconded with my dry cleaning, hopefully temporarily. however, it's been a week and a half and um. still no love! needs my clothes!

    dagnabbit, i was just going to ask you that -- i was hoping to get him to pick up laundry from me today (for the first time) and hadn't gotten a response to my message.

    he just called me. phew. I don't want to slam businesses I like. in any case, my dry cleaning should arrive either before 8:30a.m. on monday or after 7 same day.

    I will say I've never had this problem before with them and they are incredibly responsive usually. and they do quality work. and no, I don't work for them.

    I have been using Joe for years, he's a great guy and very reliable. Question: Do you tip upon the return of your clean clothes, and if so, how much? I do a lot of laundry at once, so the charge usually comes to $70-80 bucks.

    Assuming your laundry is back home - safe, sound and clean - would you, or anyone else reading this post recommend Joe's? I'm looking for a service that does pick up and delivery.
