I do think that when I hear someone say they "hate kids" or "don't like kids", it's discriminatory and just an uninteresting blanket statement. I mean, not all kids are alike. Same goes for any group of people.
    I agree with you here.
I don't think that the original poster or most of the others on this board are saying that they dislike kids on the whole.
And I agree with you here too. There's a difference between "I don't like kids" and "I don't feel like having dinner with them when I go out with my smokin' boyfriend next Tuesday."
  • It's really hard these days to find a restaurant which serves children. Back in the day (e.g. siege of Jerusalem, 70AD) I hear there were Kosher recipes for newborns.
  • So I actually went to Franny's last night at about 6ish. There were a few kids there and were very well behaved. One infant in a stroller let out a few shrieks, but the real noise started at 7 when the place got packed and the loud conversations bounced off of the bad acoustics in the place. I don't think it's about kids or no kids, it's about well behaved kids vs unruly ones.

Or about well behaved adults vs unruly ones, for that matter...

Y'all will never stop beating that drum. What sad lives you have.
    agreed...

Those who have kids need to control them as best as they can. Those who are adults need to develop a bit of patience and understanding. That is how people get along together and live peaceful, civilized lives.

Those who complain about "those damn kids" need to move to Jersey; or smarten up. (Or both...)
