crap, sorry about that! I'm a dumbass! in any case, it's TOTALLY worth watching - I was terrified that Lisa was going to win because of the way they were discussing her. it was kinda scary and, since I'm a big wuss, I wish I'd actually known the result before I watched. but! I know some folks don't like to be spoiled so I changed my title! (PM me if I do something dumb like that again - I check my email more often than I refresh the board) -

I don't know why but I think Lisa should've been kicked off the show many weeks ago. I always liked Dale better.
Stephanie is great-- she's the first female top chef winner I think... -

Dale was definitely better than Lisa, but he blew that challenge and deserved to go home that week. I would have been happy for either Richard or Stephanie; they're both great. But she definitely outperformed him in the end. And she was totally solid the whole way through, winning 4 elimination challenges and basically never being near the bottom.

Although Lisa definitely won me over early on with her miso-glazed bacon, she definitely did not deserve to win the whole thing. Speaking of which, I want Richard's recipe for the bacon ice cream! -

I am soooooooooo happy Stephanie won. She completely deserved it, and yes, she is the first female Top Chef. Lisa seemed to f up so much, not seasoning the mushrooms, not making this right, that right. I was so surprised that her Tom Kha soup was good - didn't she JUST f up a Tom Yum soup? And didn't she also recently f up a rice pudding? Yet ths one was good? So weird. I was irritated that Richard made those stupid banana scallops for THE THIRD TIME!!!!!!!! Either way, thank goodness that ugly semi-competent, angry-faced biotch Lisa didn't win.
I love how the Bravo shows only judge on this challenge, not on the body of work-- like Project Runway and the design one. It makes judging easier but sometimes heartbreaking. -

You were the first person I thought of when I saw that dish

It really did seem like Lisa had a chance and that really pissed me off...she shouldn't have been in the finals, period. I know that these "reality" shows are pretty scripted, but I always gave Bravo more credit than other networks.
It seems like they have been keeping the villains on longer just to keep up the drama and it's so transparent. I loved Dale...so glad he was able to help Stephanie toward the end. -

Ok, now I watched it (thanks for changing the title, Alfie, although do that again and I'm gonna hunt you down ;-) )
I am glad Stephanie won. Lisa should have been gone ages ago. Richard was ok, but too much show with that nitrogen tank, blow torches, etc.
I really liked Antonia, and thought she deserved to be there the end more than Lisa or Richard.
And, ooooh, bacon ice cream. I'm so ready to stuff my piehole with some of that -

YAY!! WE ALL SCREAMED FOR JOY WHEN SHE WON!! I admired her cool headed ways, and how she actually refrained from cursing.
It killed me when Lisa said they should've been nice to her after Antonia got eliminated. That bitch was NEVER nice, and prided herself on it. I also would've liked to see Dale go the distance, and when he left the pork out overnight, I almost cried....omg, what if he ruined it for his BFF Steph?!But, proving once again she is a brilliant chef, she pulled something awesome together, and did it without complaint.
She is a role model for all of us who are prone to yell "SABOTAGE!!" -
