The dates and times are set, folks.

Friday, the 13th (ooooooo, spooky)

11:45 pm- we meet UNDER THE GAP ARCH!!!

Stroke of MIDNIGHT- we ride. Once around.

After- we go drink! Probably at Sepia, or Franklin Park, or somewhere that won't freak when they see the lot of us.

All are welcome, not just us Brooklynians.
See you then! 8)

  • I could not have made this for a worse night. I have to wake up at the crack of dawn (for a Saturday, anyway) and get on the train to LI for my gramma 90th birthday party. And gramma likes to drink

  • Aw, you'll be fine. Two days of drinking is easy. Just ask Gramma to take it easy on you.

Anyhoo, I'll see you guys at GAP.

  • I'm in, as long as we can get more than the current headcount of 4! That doesn't seem like quite enough to fend off angry midnight park marauders!

This'll be my first live outing with the Brooklynian crowd...I'm a little nervous and unfamiliar with the protocol. Do we all have to refer to each other by our user names? Are there songs, secret handshakes, etc that I should be practicing? Uniforms? Help! :)

Me too. What should I expect? It better not be a hazing involving pee or maple syrup filled balloons.

  • Hum... I have no bike. depending on how exhausted I am, I might meet you all over at FP. Especially now that I know Alfy and Mrs.C can keep me company :drunken:

    Hey now!
Brooklynian 101: Those of us that have met have never had to perform a secret handshake, nor have we been subjected to hazing of any sort (well, you might get some shit for things you have previously posted, but aside from that...).

Since I have a horrible memory (Brooklynian outings+alcohol=bad memory for faces/names) I will intially refer to people by their screen names and don't mind being called by mine.

What should you expect? Good times...good times...

ADDED BONUS! After party at Franklin Park! All those who are not cyclically inclined can get the ball rolling and we will meet you there around 12.30. =D>

  • Strangely enough, my screen name _is_ my name.

So y'all can call me whatchuwant.

Er, whatever you want, means I.

I found a use for my colorful duck tape and will no longer be rolling up in a silver bike.

    So fuck y'all.

Unfortunately, I grew bored with duck taping my bike before my true vision was realized.

So it is all half-assed and shit.

    Quarter-assed, even.

    Hmm.

    That is probably strangely appropriate.
