7th Ave Uke man
this morning, around 10:15 there was the most delightful ukulele man playing on the manhattan-bound platform of the 7th Ave station. he did this great version of "until the real thing comes along" (which included a little rant about mcdonalds) followed by "dream a little dream of me." i think i heard this guy once before, but as i was running for a train, probably late like this morning. does anyone know if he plays there often, or does he float around? the guy's too good to be busking. i wish i had brought my minidisc recorder to work today!

Finding good subway musicians is such a treat! Yesterday there was (what sounded like) a full-blown jazz band at Atlantic Ave, and they sounded great in that space. Wish that I had had time to get out and listen.
