I was actually at Soda with the fam last night and my kid had a Soda...gotta say for all the harshing on the place, I've never had a bad experience with food, service, crowd, etc....
And good to see the "new" Ripple is the same as the "old" Ripple... -
Don't go into Ripple I hear only thugs, alkies, and drug dealers hang there.
excuse me I need a refill on my night train. :drunken:

Like on Vandy every single Bar on the Avenue has their resident coke dealer and i mean just every single Bar on Vandy no exceptions!

every single bar in nyc has their resident coke dealer. -
Thanks for your warm welcome to the neighborhood.
The links were helpful! Could of done without some of the comments but I'm easy prey. Thanks for answering my question! -
ripple is great. I'm so glad they're back. I know some residents with bedrooms that front to washington have issues with noise and I can definitely appreciate that. however for me they are a great place to escape if something weird is going on. every once in awhile some dude focuses on me either at a bodega or on the walk from the subway/st.johns/sterling/park and I need to escape to not-my-house. I live directly across the street from ripple and the owners are kind enough to be a shelter, as a tiny part of their business which also includes chess playing, bbqing, dancing, and fancy drink making (and board repairing meetings amongst rivals - I've had two there and both have been fan-fuckin'-tastic). I sit there and nurse my jack & coke, read my book, and watch the street til danger has passed. my bday party last year was there - they were so fucking cool about it. I love ripple.

as two side notes:
1) welcome to the nabe
2) I hate the party space to the left of ripple. it generates more noise and, frankly, danger, than ripple does. -

Hey. The comments weren't about you or towards you. Ripple gets talked about alot in here and that's what the comments were for. I was pointing that out and joking about it.
I knew you wouldn't have known about all those threads about Ripple cuz you had only one post and your joined date wasn't too long ago. But I don't blame you for the misunderstanding. I blame that sumanabish sneakyoncrazyst. His comment made it look like look like that. He's a fuck up anyway. -
Not sure of the party place next door? Haven't noticed it but will keep my eye out.
The responses make more sense after reading the previous blogs...kind of opened a can of worms.
anyway will def try it out one night.
Howdy, Stranger!
