Glass-fronted store-with-no-name on Flatbush has small fire

The new glass-fronted-store-with-no-name had a small electrical fire Sunday, July 6th at bout 11:30 am. This is the store that is in the old photo store between Prospect and Park.

I went over to investigate (since it looked close to home) and watched the firefighters poking around in some ceiling fixture and all the shopkeepers hugging one another.

Then a woman came along and took a picture with her cell phone and was immediately yelled at by a shopkeeper for taking a picture of "a disaster," "how dare you?"

This was the same woman who was nasty to me when I saw her washing the windows the other morning and asked her what kind of store was going in there ("I'm just trying to wash the windows, Ma'am."). She was also nasty to my husband when he walked by while she was opening up and asked her what was going in ("Nothing's ready yet.")

All in all, not a friendly way to start out in the neighborhood.
