The committed roster looks like:
watchuwant
daver
caahyoko
carnivore
christina
arches
lanciano
whynot
rtraindweller
duffy'ssis
p_waltman
plus anyone else who shows up (or drops out). Rings for 11! Although I like the 3x markup idea to bar patrons...sounds like a bad (err...good) episode of the Apprentice. -
Damn you Arches! Why you gotta go and do dat? I'm not looking! [-X
-
By the way, there's gotta be at least 20 rings in a sack.
-
Oh, so what condiments come with the rings? Honey mustard? BBQ? I haven't been to White Castle in more than 10 years.
-
You can count me out of those gorgeous sounding rings.
I'd be burping them up til 7am. So no rings for me.
Now all i need to do is make sure to stay awake! -
okay. I'm doing ...whatever I'm eating and convince jeffrey he wants to eat. then. I'm gonna roll with maybe 5 sacks of chicken rings? no one other than carny has said they want one of their own. also I got carny's burgers listed and WYW's burgers.
WHAT ELSE? *hee, I has ebil* -

Sounds good to me. I doubt I'll eat more than 10 rings.

Yeah, that sounds good to me too. -
My body is a temple and I shall eat no rings or things.

There is no greater offering you could bring to your temple than rings of chicken.
You can present your offering with the traditional dance:

LOL.
(I'm already half asleep) -

No no no, Red Leader!
(I'm already half asleep)
Stay on target! Stay on target!
Okay, well, if you *do* have to powernap...
..you still have about 3 hours before you have to motivate.
-
Don't worry. One of my many great qualities is my reliability. There are drinks with my name on them, I cannot let them down.

Don't worry...I'm sure Alafairnadia knows to choose the espresso flavored chicken rings. You'll be wired in no time.
ps. I convinced my girlfriend to come along...now we have a dozen riders. 12 riders ride at 12. The "reward" of white castle at the end didn't make convincing her any easier. -
okay. if the orders change, cause I'm leaving my house now to either beast, barrette or soda (will dodgeball for those on it, text me if you ain't), er. PM a bunch of people and someone will text me?
and jeffrey, gonna call you but was thinking maybe the shuttle would be better so you don't have to take your car home? but you can help me carry? txt me with thoughts. ok. have a good ride, pees. see you at the ass end!
oh! and I'm wearing (no joke) a baby pink silk dress. unmissable. -
Wanted to make it. Was dying to check it out. But I got caught up having drinks with friends and did not get home until now.
I am so in if you do it again. Le sigh. I really wanted to see the park tonight. -
Well, damn. Looks like I missed a night of bikes, drinks, and WHITE CASTLE. Is there anything better?
I wound up at Eurotrip with my girlfriend and her friend, as I promised I'd do before I realized it would conflict with the midnight ride. Was fun (good food there, for a place that has a terrible name and worse graphic design), but I wish I could have made the ride... next time! -
dude. we JUST GOT HOME. you fail.
-
how was it?
-
good morning.
i am a lame-o. -
The ride back after I left you guys was surreal. Once I turned off union to head south there were almost NO CARS all the way back home. I had the road to myself

Thank you to the lovely alafairnadia/jeffrey for picking up the chicken rings--the most sterile food known to man. No fear of cold rings here! -
All thanks go to Alaf on that one, for risking life, limb. And rings.
I was more like the getaway, erm...walker (since was convinced to shuttle it and not end up with car to deal with).
So perhaps just as the bike folks have the dare of a midnight park ride, booster/fan club folks have some silly, odd dare or quest to perform.
Sliders/chicken rings somehow taste better that way, when one substitutes DANGER for trans-fat. Heh.
Oh, and grace a you guyz, I have a new sig.
-
Oooooooooooooh! So you guys had Whitecastle, huh?
Damn you all!! [-(

I still vote for the Coney Island ride one Friday.
It's a flat road all the way, there's the Cyclone at the end, along with funnel cake, fireworks in the sand, and fantastic Russian food at the boardwalk restaurants all named Tatiana.
And when we get back it'll be midnight. Sounds awesome!!! -

I second that. I've done the ride by myself three times and love it. They've fixed up 3/4 of the Ocean Parkway bike path, so its very smooth sailing. And next to chicken rings, funnel cake is the second best post-ride food. :chef:

I'm totally down for the Coney Island ride, even if it's not in the wee hours of night/morning..
Been wanting to do it myself for months now, and planned on getting to Siren that way next saturday. -
I think......yea, I think I'm still drunk... :drunken:
