  • *raises hand*
  • I think I can make it.
  • so who is riding the q with me in the dark???
  • Yes, 8pm, please!!!

I will be there regardless. I'll ride by myself if I have to!

Oh, and I recommend breaking out your headlights if you've got em. It is veeery dark on the greenway at night, and there are a few bumpy spots. Scared the heck bejeezus out of me when I hit a big bump while riding home a bike I had just bought from some guy off craigslist.
  • Ok 8pm, GAP for the riders.

  • Is it okay if I ride without a light?
  • I don't have a light either.
It'll be the blind leading the blind ;-)
  • I hope you guys all have metrocards and plan to take the Q home. this is much further away than the park. or FP.
  • Well we have a doctor in the group, right Carni?
We just need to make sure he doesn't fall off his bike before anyone else does.

Yeah, riding home 9 miles post-vodka, in the dark, partially exposed to traffic, without lights and without helmets (in most cases)..probaaaaably not the best idea this board has inspired.

Not to be all dad-like....it's just that I want all of you guys to be around for the next ride too!
  • I have a couple extra lights if someone wants to borrow them. I'll bring them along. ;)

But as long as some people have lights we should be good.

Hmmm...with his track-record that might be a problem.

I'm not going to make this one. But I will be happy to brag about my street knowledge on the board until then.
  • Arches man, we are so rock and roll- that's exactly how we like to do this!

I take no responsibility for people who wipe out after piles of grey goose and hot dogs. NO RESPONSIBILITY.
  • Carnivore wrote: [quote=Em26][quote=Idlewild] Btw, I'm with you Em, Nathan's dogs definitely need catsup and everything else a Chicago like dog needs.
You have very good taste! :)

    You are both heathens.

Let us sing the song of thee dog that is hot:

"Oooh ketchup hot dogs , Oooh ketchup hot dogs. Oooh how I love you my ketchup hot dogs."

Ooooh, look at it. Such, such beauty. :drunken:

  • Just leave room for the Russian food. There'll be plenty of it.

Me, I opt for funnel cake - sans ketchup. And a beef patty. In that order.
  • Are you guys planning on cutting through the park and exiting on the SW corner? If so, I'll catch you guys as you exit the park. I have to use the fixed gear because my other bike needs a part, and don't feel like killing myself going down that hill again.

See, it is just perfect that the one who so enjoys the blasphemy that is ketchup on a hot dog would not recognize that the picture they posted was not of a hot dog. Only such a creature would be unable to distinguish one from what is clearly either a "hot link" or a bratwurst.

I think I'm going to skip Nathan's and save my appetite for Tatiana's. I can't have any part of this ketchup business.
  • Nor does it appear to be sitting in a bun. It looks more like a folded piece of Wonder Bread!
  • WHATEVER!!! It's meat shaped the same way as a hot dog. In a bun WITH KETCHUP ON IT!!!!!!

    KETCHUP KETCHUP KETCHUP!!!

And it is to a bun. Look what color the sides of the bun is.

Since the hot dog obviously means nothing to you, why don't you just have a nice glass of ketchup? I'll bring a straw for you.
  • LOL!

Ok , as long as I can pour some of that tasty ketchup on my hot dog.

If you can figure out what one is...
  • oh for chrissakes. which way is tatiana from nathan's? and is grey goose what I should order in order to make them give a fuck about me? my russian sucks. I mean. doesn't exist. and I hear their champagne is craptastic. (though if I'm stuck there alone, if there's veuve, that might be the first bottle I order to make people like me.)
