Is the Bike Station open? I've called a few times and get no answer. I'm too lazy to walk my bike down and look for myself.

They close at 7pm on weekdays. But yes, they are also subject to sudden hours of operation changes. Not knocking them, its a small shop and shit happens that keeps you from being open.

I had a similar problem a couple of months back. In that case they were open every time I called, they just didn't answer the phone. Nothing for it but to wheel that bike down there.

Last Thursday, I was going to pick up my bike, which I had left there for a tune up the previous Tuesday. There was no answer on the phone, but I walked over to check anyway, figuring they may have been too busy to answer it. They were not open. I was worried that I wasn't going to get my bike back in time for the ride, but managed to get it on Friday.

we almost need another bike shop in the 'hood, bicycle station is SO awesome that they get seemingly too much business. it's a shame b/c i would rather bring my bike to them but it's too big of a hassle. most people i know feel the same and travel far to get their bike fixed.
