    Anyone know a decent bike shop in Park Slope, preferably closer to Windsor Terrace? All I'm thinking of getting is a light or two for the bike.

    I've read a bunch of bad stuff about one around here that's all snobby, so I'd like to avoid that one.

    Not sure if I'm going to make this one- I'm pretty sick (haha, very funny- no I have a cold!).

    Going to see how I feel later, but it's not looking good.

    On The Move on 7th Ave btw 12th and 13th is my current favorite shop. Its run by a cool family, and most importantly, they charge about what you'd pay on Amazon for stuff.

    I almost thought I'd have to flake out (again). Woke up in the middle of the night with a killer sore throat from hell that actually made it difficult & painful to breath, but it's starting to feel a bit better.

    Well, the poll opts for 7pm although that's just 5 answers.
    We said 8pm at GAP, but that was triggered by Whatchuwant who now looks like she's flaking out (grrr!!!).

    Great. I just edited the title and first post to reflect this. I put in the first post that we meet at 7:45pm at GAP and WE RIDE AT 8PM.

    I'm still going to wait for you guys at the bottom of the hill to avoid some leg exhaustion. For sure you're going to exit out at the Southwest circle, right? (Its really the only way to get to Ocean Parkway anyhow)

    Umm... Alfy, *which* stop on the Q train were you thinking of? Some of us have to change trains to get to the Q. It's not a huge problem, but I would like to maximize the chance of actually meeting up with you guys.

    I think she's going to take the Q train from the Prospect Park station.

    Take the Franklin Ave. S shuttle train from Botanic Garden station to the Prospect Park stop and then transfer to the Q train.

    I'm not sure , but I think she lives around the same area as I do and that is the way that I'd have to take to get there if I end up coming.

    She's probably talking about the 7th Ave stop.

    Honestly, if you have to switch trains to get to the Q, you guys should probably just meet up at Coney Island.

    I just returned from On the Move with a brand-spanking new head- and tail-light, as well as a new water bottle and mount....which I think will be kinda useful on tonight's ride.

    I was thinking about (possibly) mayyybe taking you up on that, decided against it, but am now reconsidering because of how absurdly hot it is outside. It's much closer to me, and all downhill from the entrance here at 15th & PPW (as opposed to all uphill to GAP)....so we'll see how late I'm running and how lazy I'm feeling. If you don't see me there by 8, I will likely be omw with the rest of the group at GAP.

    Actually, whereabouts will you be? Isn't it the SE circle (Park Circle?)?

    I'm not gonna be able to make it. :(

    My guests haven't arrived yet. They got delayed in Det. cuz of the damn toilet???? The toilet on their plane broke , lol , and they wouldn't let the plane take off till they fix it. So , now I don't know exactly what time to expect them. Just waiting for the phone call so that we can go scoop them up.

    Damn , I really wanted that ketchup dog. #-o

    Thanks everyone for coming out! The ride back was even better than the ride to!

    Now we need a new destination...(although I still want to eat some funnel cake. Or dinner, full stop). :-)
