Bullets. Fireworks. Whatever.

Any word on the street activity on Lincoln and Underhill right about now? Thought it was bullets, then heard fireworkers. Also know there was a fight earlier tonight.

  • Sounded like fireworks to me, especially with that...er...falling gravel kind of sound you get from fireworks. Don't know a better way to describe.
  • It's just a diversion for the gunfire....duh.

But for real...I thought it might have been gunshots for a second until I heard that distinct fireworks sound.
  • Yeah, I'm on Butler and I heard those noises, too. Definitely thought that the first were gunshots, but the later noises were definitely fireworks. Whew.
  • We heard them on St. John's Place.

Thank you A$$holes for waking up my kid.

Those low life on Lincoln...lack of education/manners. I called the 77th and a lady told me "just bear with it, we are understaffed" I was like "ok lets assume I am recording this conversation, if I go down there to talk to them and I get hurt" the lady replies " oh please do not go talk to them"
The whole thing is a joke!

I guess they didn't get the memo that Crown Heights is now conquered, ruled territory.

Feel free to record the conversation. The person you spoke with was letting you know that although officers would be sent to the area there is no promise as too how quickly. Next time the officer should lie to you and say,"I'm sending two cars there right away."

    BTW...the 77 took it's 14th homicide on Thursday.
BTW #2...Atleast half of the impact personell were reassigned to new commands last week with no replacements in sight. The 77 is not impact anymore.
  • Looks like the 73 pct is winnng with 15 Homicides. Oh and BTW Mr. Rest much better on your spelling of "HOMOCIDE"
  • That was just for you, Mr. Crown.
