What does a knitting resume look like? Maybe I should just send in a swatch?

Subject: Resume suggestions
That's a good question, I wonder if they'd be impressed if you knit a cover letter.
I have a feeling that your cover letter will carry the weight since not many of us knit folks have direct schooling (i.e. textile design, fashion marketing). It would be valuable to Lyon Brand to know that you would have other skills to lend to their work force.
Here are some suggestions.
RESUME
Professional Experience(s):
1) current occupation(s)
2) other prof. experiences (ESL)
Knitting/craft Experience:
1) test knitter/crocheter
2) teaching/lecturing experience
Schooling:
1) degree(s): BA, MBA, BFA, MFA, EMBA
2) certificates: (what ever makes you certifiable, other than knitting for 20 hours straight)
Skills:
1) knitting, crocheting, weaving, spinning, roving/carding
2) pattern writing & reading
3) other languages, written or spoken
4) sign language
Web 2.0 communities:
1) Knit PH, PSCK, Flatbush Knit...etc.
2) Message Board communities (Etsy, Ravelry, Knitty, VK... etc.) -

Holy crap! Carnivore, where's you find a rainbow coalition plush toy? These are some of mine.
Name: Douche-bag Kids
Tagline: Someone's parents had douche-bag kids!
Name: Mannik Monkey & Pax L. Possum
Tagline: Farmacopeic Critters? They've got issues!
I'd announce "Pattern available soon", but I might get banished to the Classifieds again. You know.
Howdy, Stranger!
