Re: CLUBS - there was a great place on Sand Lane in Staten Island:
Cracidos (Sp?). Spent many Saturday nights there pre-Gridiron.
It was more of a lounge 'sit-at-tables' venue and they had the best
entertainment regularly, e.g., The Brooklyn Bridge, Jay & the Americans, etc. Fun night out! A real lifetime ago.... -

I must say that pages 16 and 17 of this "thread" are very strange. Did the Hadron accelerator actually cause millions of "black holes" to appear (as some people predicted) and suck eveyone into nothingness ?
I am sending a check for two people for the reunion but not sure what will happen. My wife Arlene seems commited to attending a horse event in PA (her friend is giving her first horse clinic) and I also have a commitment......let's see.
Originally, I guess I was thinking that the reunion was happening in the later afternoon/ early evening and that I would be able to take care of my early day commitment in Putnam County and then go over to SI.
Let's keep this "thread" going. I remember egg creams made at the soda fountain and even had the opportunity to be on the other side of the soda fountain counter for a short time. -

Bob H, there were two clubs: the Gallery and its neighbor, the Chanticlear; both were great clubs around 88-90 St. and 4th Ave. There also was the Scene or the Pad (it changed names) on 8th Ave and 62nd St. -
Carol DL, My mother was your"cookie lady". Her name was Rose, but the people on the block called her "chickie"; she passed away about 6 years ago. I remember you well as a little girl. When your mom was sick, you came to our house and ate and my mother would wash your hair and she loved to brush it. You were so cute!!!
