Brooklynian dying?
It's a seriously slow week on Brooklynian, huh? I've got nothing to say and it seems like no one else does either, lately.
Come on folks! Let's bitch and complain about SOMETHING! Anything! I'm trying to space out my work at work and I rely on Brooklynian to clear my brain in between.
So freakin' bored.

I'm so busy with my fascinating life I have little time for such trivial matters as online message boards. Oh, life...
-
Yea yea, trust me, outside the walls of my office, I do have quite the colorful life. Some might say too colorful.
-
we are becoming tired of listening to ourselves and ranting over issues of gentrification and race.
it was fun, but we might be moving on...
P.S. Has Daver cast a vote on whether WUW has a boring life yet? Inquiring minds want to know. -
My secretary has a shitty attitude. Can I complain about that? And possibly encourage resumes?

Love it! Why does she have a shitty attitude? Cause she's a secretary? -
She just got shitty with me! Seriously, she just totally coped an attitude with me! What the fuck? She's annoyed because I told her how to do something. I just snapped and said "Don't get an attitude with me! I don't talk to you like that and I don't expect you to talk to me that way!" PM me your resumes, people!
-
I'm glad I do not have to work for you.
-
Im here. Last week I was in San Fran for work and actually had to be in front of real-live people all day (clients, ugh.) But now I'm back and ready to resume posting. Someone give me something to talk about.
-
How was SF, did you get any Indian food there? The Indian and Mexican food there is great.

Oh man, turns out the client was an hour+ outside of Sanfran and we were SO slammed we didnt even see the city at all! The closest i got was the airport, we were to the south-east over the mountains (I'm told?) I sent you a txt, woman! But yeah the trip was decent, the weather was ammaaazing and we didn't lose our account so I guess we'll call it positive haha -

Sooo...does this mean you want the job?

I've got a rant about myself.
I don't know what my problemo is , but I always seem to forget to buy a thing or two when I go to the market. #-o I remember when I get home. Today it was corn. Two days ago it was sour cream and freakin' water. I end up having to go back out. The thing that gets me the most is that I'll remember after I have put on my pajamas and have no intention of going back out. I have to get dressed all over again and try to remember where I put my phone.Sometimes I misplace the keys. I make a list so that I won't forget and dammit I mess up still cuz I forget to write on the list the thing I end up leaving the store without. Arrgh! ](*,) -
Another rant cuz I'm so pissed!

He took the card away from me!
Says I play with the money. Calls me "a penny wise , dollar fool"?? wtf?
Now I'm getting a weekly allowance. ALLOWANCE!

Good night. :-({|= -

She absolutely does _not_!
In other news, Real Life has intruded upon my ability to be bored at work and spend vast amounts of time trolling Brooklynian in search of vague amusement. Such as it is. Idle minutes have to be spent elsewhere.

I'm a big fan of "saving money" on crap that wasn't needed anyhow. Say you have something that is $200, marked down to $150. Then it goes half off clearance at $75. So ya pick it up, and just saved $125! Or- spent $75 on something that wasn't needed, like a Hello Kitty Toaster.
OK. Bad example. _Everyone_ needs a Hello Kitty Toaster. Two even, in case one needs to go into the shop for repairs.
But you get the idea.

Well, I mean, that isn't _necessarily_ entirely bad. Is it dependent on you getting your chores done, or are you allowed to fully slack and still collect the dole?
-
Maybe we need homework? Everyone has to go out this weekend and interact with their environment and then report back?
I've been totally inspired by newyorkshitty/missheather's boobification, personally. -

Ok. Sorry. We have no boundaries at our office, so I forget. -
Mamacita wrote: Grill it or fry it. Lemon, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper... herbs...
Thanks for the tip. I'm gonna fry half and grill the rest. I'll be eating calamari for the first time ever. :?
so what time do you want me over?
You get here at 7pm sharp. Not 7:01 , 7:00 !
-
I messed up the calamari. I'm glad I didn't cook them all cuz it would have been a big waste. My bro in law took one bite and spit it out saying that it was raw. I ended up spitting mines out too cuz I was afraid that it may be raw as well. He wouldn't another piece and neither would I. I'm grossed out by the thought of chewing raw squid. :puker: They're in the freezer waiting to get thrown away tomorrow. I don't want them to sit all nite stinking up the kitchen.
Calamari is a not for me. Neither is lobster. I'm sticking to shrimp and tuna.
Here's a video of the finished product.

can u look @ "not too safe for work shit" ? -
LOL! My cooking is usually this bad. Calamari was new to me.
Caah , I was told by this man that keeps bringing me these strange creatures to cook for him , that if I under cook it's bad and if I over cook it's bad. So I was all paranoid while cooking it.
Whatchuwant , I don't know if the fried ones were any good because we agreed to try them at the same time , I felt like I was on fear factor , and he chewed and spit saying "IT'S RAW!" and I got scared and spit mines out as well. So , I don't know how those turned out cuz I was too grossed out to try it again. Oooh well , I'm taking out the trash in a few and I hope he doesn't show up with another sea critter for me to play with. First was lobsters and now squid. I bet he'll bring live crabs next. -
Make HIM cook whatever he brings home next!
Howdy, Stranger!
