  • yeah. I think I was like 12 or something in san diego when I got swept out on a boogie board. remembered to swim parallel to the shore, etc. but man, getting hauled in by lifeguards isn't fun. better than death, though. christ. these poor people.

  • Thunder strikes agan, laying in bed watching and listening to the rain fall and the sky break ..
  • I'm loving this. loud, insane thunder and brightass lightning. it's almost like the tropics.

    but not.
  • yeah it reminded me when i was a kid in Central America and the thunder would be so loud that the windows would rattle. And the rain drops were so big, pounding the bare earth and when the storm would end, we would make paper boats and let them go on the curbed. >Sweet memories, it made me think of those dys and it put a smile on my face.
  • I swear one hit my building or right near it around 1:30 am Tue night/Wed morning! I literally jumped out of bed in fright, felt a sudden warmth, and when my feet hit the floor I felt this buzzing coming from the floor and the building sort of shuddered...and car alarms went off all around. But power didn't go out so maybe it just hit nearby? Bizarro!
