To where?
-
let's hope they stay in PH. great people over there.
-
We wanted to rent their two-person bicycle for our wedding but they would only sell it to us for $3k. Maybe we should pop in to see if they will lower their price...
They were a great store!
Actually...speaking of...anyone have a bike that we could rent for our wedding? I am not sure that i can handel a true tandem with my dress and all but something like a side-by-side or even a Bella Bike or something like that would be nice.
Anyone? -
Damn where are they moving to? The chick that works there is a babe
I mean, they do good work. -
there's a sign outside the door i'll have to look at again. but
i think it's park ave (near bqe) and ... can't remember the cross st. -
When are they moving? I guess that's good motivation for finally getting my bike tire fixed...

bristen's eatery (on franklin between st johns and sterling) has a tandem bike for rent on the weekends. i bet you could talk carlene into renting it to you in advance.

I saw the 'store for rent' sign yesterday and cried inside. That was my bike shop on the way to the park
(
Are they definately going to park near the bqe? thats not too bad for me actually -
anyone know the exact new address? that's the best bike shop in south bk, far as i'm concerned.

I mean check it out. -
171 park ave @ adelphi (2 blocks west of vanderbilt).
-
where will all the weekend riders headed towards prospect park get their bike fix?? dixons?
-
I just moved from that corner 2 months ago! Woulda been nice to have this place there. Not that the old location was far or anything but who wouldn't want their local bike shop around the corner? Know which storefront it's moving in to?
-
in addition, now where's the closest place to the park to get air? anyone know?
-
there's air on flatbush, and at dixon's on union.
-
Also can get air (for a quarter!) from the BP at Vandy and Atlantic.
-
I'm not happy to hear this. This was the closest (and coolest) bike shop to me in CH. I'll never make it to the new one- especially if I have a flat and have to walk. [-X

That works for me, though it is not in the direction of the park -

flatbush where? at tillary? and dixon's is great but a bit out of the way from pro-ho.stillif wrote: Also can get air (for a quarter!) from the BP at Vandy and Atlantic.
true, and not much further out of the way than bicycle station.
still, the nearby free air was a good thing. and mike's a superlative mechanic. -

There's a bike store on 5th Avenue around Sterling (?).
