Sing Spooky Songs And Win A Canned HAM!
Wednesday October 15
9:30-ish to 12:30 there and abouts

HUMANS AGAINST MUSIC
What could be more frightening than looking at your 401K? Scary-oke at Freddy's Bar! Human's Against Music returns with a vengence with your host, Master Kroaky Song, on Wednesday October 15, 2008. Sing haunting tunes such as "Werewolves of London", "The Adam's Family Theme", "Monster Mash", "Dark Lady", "Ghost Riders", "Don't Fear the Reeper", "Killer Queen", Night Chicago Died", "Rapture" and "O Canada".

Or make up your own lyrics like this:
"Zombie Goatherd" (The Sound of Music)

High on a hill was a zombie goatherd
Mmm brains mmmmm brains
Loud was the voice of the zombie goatherd
Mmm brains mmmmm

Folks in a town that was quite remote heard
Mmm brains mmmmm brains
Lusty and clear from the zombie's throat heard
Mmm brains mmmmmmmmmm

Mmm brains mmmmm brains
Mmm brains mmmmm brains
Mmm brains mmmmm brains
Mmm brains mmmmm... etc.

This evening might prove to be more popular than our tribute to Gordon Lightfoot! Sing low 'n' win big![/b] You don't have to be a movie star to win a HAM, but it couldn't hurt. So put on some scarey pants and join in the fun.

MEDIOCRE PRIZES!
First Prize: 48 oz Krakus brand canned ham packed in it's own juices
Second Prize: "Blade" and "Blade Trinity" DVD, staring Wesley Snipes and Kris Kristofferson
Third Prize: Candy!Stuff! Condiments!

Join the Big Bohemian ending at 12:30. We have over 400 GET-OUT! voiceless tracks, but you'll have to show up and hear for yourself.

  • Thank god.

It's true we've been a bit slack about our HAM, and no one wants a slacker ham. We at H.A.M. offer our apologies. New to our list is Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights", made popular by Brooklyn-born rock star Pat Benatar. Isn't is scary that someone actually requested this song? This voiceless track almost completes our Kate Bush tribute "Running up that Bush". Can you forget this haunting refrain?

    Heathcliff, it's me, I’m Cathy
    I've come home and I´m so co-ho-ho-hold
    let me in your windo-ho-how

    Heathcliff, it's me, I’m Cathy
    I've come home and I´m so co-ho-ho-hold
    let me in your windo-ho-how

This month our spooky 2nd place DVD prizes are "Blade" and " Blade Trinity". Maybe our lucky prize winners can unravel the Kris Kristofferson riddle. If his was literally killed off by day walkers in the previous movie how did he come back to become vampiric tech-support? Was there a missing "Blade 2.5" that went directly to DVD? Mystery. Intrigue. Ham.
  • Subject: Debate?

Anna M. wrote in asking if we'll be watching the debate tonight. The only debate we'll have tonight is to whom we will award a Krakus Canned Ham. All the fun starts roughly at 9:30 and end at around 12:30. Sing low and win big. You just might take home a ham, a DVD or condiments!
  • Subject: HAM SUMMARY

Last nights Spooky-oke left me speechless... technical problems, typos, and all. Thanks again to Master Kraoky Song for some ghostly hosting. There was no ham winner last night, but everyone's a winner as far as we are concerned... that's how communism and beauty pageants work.

    Porcine Epilogue
Humans Against Music shouts out to few folks. To first-time hamster Ace this song had no meaning... "Till There Was You". Joe, what a voice, you were frighteningly good. That's just unfare. Scarah K won a faux plate armor costume complete with a cape, mask, and shin guards for her haunting duets and renditions of "Wuthering Heights", "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves" and "Gypsy". Paranoid Larry pumped some life into the 8-track classic "Wichita Lineman" with his own version titled "I Am the Super of the Building". Mikey Palms was a "Rebel Rebel". Muy muchos gracias to Los Tres Amigas Y Amigo for all the Evlis tunes and dance hits "(You) Will Survuve". Theo was "Blinded by the Light" and H-Bomb was our "Teachers pet". Big Balls was "Strong Enough" to sing the entire Cher song book, she could "...Turn Back Time" again and again. Vote Quimby sang "Viva Las Vegas' till "Sundown".

I can't believe no one sang "O Canada", if things don't work out after the election we'll all be heading that way, eh. There's so much more, but my fingers are all so hurty from typing. This plane has sailed. See you next all month.
  • I really liked Mikey palms too bad he forgot the lyrics!! Paranoid Larry did a great fucking job, i will never look at my super the same way!!
