  • Hi Everyone: I was thinking about the reunion and all the memories we have and it hit me that next year we will be speaking about this years reunion and the memories generated from it. I will say, wow, I remember meeting Festina and how sweet she was and blah, blah, blah. Oh how nice Ann Marie was and her daughter and this happened ............... Remember Anthony Mei and how funny he was and The Castaldo girls, and how sweet Christina is and how handsome James Oliva is, or how funny Terry is. So of course I realized that we all made new memories, and that's also what it's all about. Making memories, lol. ( Eastman Kodak thing, lol)
  • ADDED: How cute Debbie is and doesn't she look the same as she did when she was little. She also looks so much like Nick. Rocco also had the same face as he did when he was little. Billy Brown, wow, I didn't expect to see him and he looked great. Al also looked fantastic and had he same great sense of humor. OK, I will stop and save it for next year's memories, lol.
  • Hi Everybody,

I am excited about the book of stories/memories. It will be great!

    Patsy--Looking forward to your contributions.

Warren (Old Goat)--Stories, anecdotes, etc. from the 30s, 40s and 50s would be wonderful. I am sure you have fabulous stories and all of us would love to hear about the earlier days.

Guzzo here--Festina? Illustrations would be an incredible enhancement to the book.

Anthony Umbria--the best writing is the truest. Bring on the bad and the ugly--and the good, too.

Chrissy--It's obvious you have so much to say and so much personality that your stories will be very entertaining.

If anyone wants to send the story for the collection directly to me, my email address is [email protected]. I can't wait to begin reading, and writing my own tales.

Looks like you & I have the same brain !!

I have been doing copy/paste of interactions between you & Bob, Umbria, "the 1st song on the site" etc... I just had one of Terry's past posts laminated into plastic, Plus some of the old stuff. I started to do this to show my brother some of the interesting or funny stories, also comments from the reunion with his name on them.
Then I decided to put what I had and more into Phamlet form to have by the next gathering for everyone to view. I believe you took it even to a better level by the idea of EVERYONE having one. I think thats what you said ?
I thought of a surprise to put in it but so far not finding what I need. I will call you !

THE OLD SITE - I put it in my favorites long time back so I am able to read it all. Two people posted it might not be there anymore.

COLLEGE KIDS - Mine came home just in time to help with getting my picture on :) I told him I have all the instructions From people on the site & I did try but ](*,) He said he needs no instructions and in 30 seconds it will be done. It took me much longer then that to teach him back when the A B C 's. He said he can't wait for his next visit & what will be next. I told him Suzie put this cute picture with a cat peeking out All I heard was .......... MOMMMMMMMMMMMMM
    I tried

Also, Carol Radomski Antoci emailed me and said she printed out the entire original blog. She said it was 500 Pages. Bless your heart, Carol. She was thinking if Marilyn Horan was going to do our memory book, she has all those stories to give her. THANK YOU CAROL ANTOCI.

    Love,
    Twiggy
  • Twiggy, what are you doing today?
    Anything fun?
  • HI MILLIE,

I'm still working on transferring my old videos onto CDs. I have a few years of the kids and I want to get caught up. I took a bunch of old tapes directly to Costco last week. They transfer old reels, vhs tapes, or the small tapes from video cameras and transfer them onto CDs. It's $20 for 2 tapes on one CD and they give you two CDs back. It's going to be a couple of hundred dollars, but I have to do it. I want the kids to see all their fun times. Also, I have so much footage of Jeanne and this will be great for them to remember her in happy times. My son is still struggling with her loss. He tells me, "Mom, do you think God can give Aunt Jeanne back for three more weeks?" It's heartbreaking, Millie.

Hope you are doing something fun. Hey, I just finished two cups of coffee from my old fashioned percolator! DELICIOUS!

HUGS TO YOU, MILLIE FROM SUNNY FLORIDA !
  • Twiggy, that is great that you are putting all videos on cd's. My son jason will be doing that for us soon. He just finished scaning over 700 pictures and put them on a CD with music. Everyone in the family has a copy now.
Anthony Trocchio has a business Video Time and he does that kind of work.
I am in school today until 3:30. You can call this fun lol.
  • Hey Christina, I saw the pictures you posted on facebook of Jeanne, they mad me sad and happy. I hope all of our friends and family that have left us are having their own reunion up there!!!!
  • HELLO CHRISSY

MARY ANN USE TO BABYSIT FOR ME WHEN I WAS A LITTLE BRAT MARY ANN AND FRANNY I SOME TIME I.M. HER SHES SO SWEET I HOPE I GET TO MEET HER SOON
  • CHUCK aka Debbie Bonavita McCarthy:

I think they are having a reunion and probably having a great time too!

You know, I was unsure if I wanted to post those pictures, because she was sick, but those particular days, she was feeling so good and able to get around. That is why I cherish those pictures and those days. You know, Debbie, they were her last weeks with us, but we had many laughs (you know all this already). I know that she is cursing me in heaven saying, "get those pictures off, I look like shit, put the one when I'm wearing my neck scarf or one with my turtle neck....................or one of me in a red top - I look great in red"!!!! Jeanne and Edith Ann were the most beautiful girls in the world no matter how sick they were! Great spirit and beautiful smiles ALWAYS. Right until the end! Right, Debbie?

I Love You, Chuck ! You're my best friend!
  • Hi All: I was able to get on the old Blog, so here is the link:
