Pomegranate — Brooklynian

Pomegranate

So, I went there this weekend on a random excursion via bike. What neighborhood is that officially? (coney island ave and Ave. L)

Is there a map that show the n'hoods of brooklyn and their street borders?

It was a fun destination. Their prepared food looked great, albeit a wee bit expensive.

  • Just an FYI to those who are planning to follow new2hood's footsteps (or biketracks? ) Pomegranade is closes early (like 2PM, I think) on Fridays, and is not open on Saturdays. I already went on one unsuccessful trio to the store one Thursday, which turned out to be a major Jewish holiday. No macaroons for me...
  • being the non-jew that I am, I wouldn't have even thought of that, so thanks for pointing it out. I'll definitely be back for the stuffed cabbage and the matzoh ball soup. And, the really friendly counter guys in prepared foods. AND their amazing harissa dip and baba ganoush.
