I FOUND A LOST TABBY CAT!

If you or someone you know is the owner of a lost, very sweet, grey, female tabby cat, please send them to me: your kitty is safe!

Said cat somehow came to perch on my fire escape yesterday and so I brought it inside last night. It's been spending most of its time under my sofa, but it has come out to play with me and my boyfriend a bit. She is very clean and seems quite healthy if a bit skinny.

I can be reached at [email protected].

  • Thats so sweet of you to take her in. I also took in an abandoned fire escape kitty 2 years ago who was disposed of by someone who didn't want her anymore - she was once loved, considering she loves to snuggle and cuddle.

Are you planning on keeping her if you don't find her original owner?
  • My tabby cat is lost! I would have called her a light greyish brown so it might not be her but I'm chasing every lead possible. I suspect you may be too far away for it to be my Dusty( she went missing from Bergen btw 4th and 5th two and a half weeks ago ) but I can send you photos if you could cross check?
How can you send me your e mail privately?
Regardless, its comforting to me that, as long as there are kind people like you out there. My little one stands a chance of coming home.
  • Here are a couple of pics of Dusty. The black tip to her tail is often the give away.

  • Dawnc--was the cat Dusty? I think we are all hoping that you find her ASAP!
  • Alas no. Another false alarm .
  • I saw a sign for a lost gray cat on lamp posts on the left side of sterling (as you go towards flatbush) between underhill and vanderbilt. Perhaps the same cat?
  • Thankyou for taking the time. I have heard of this one but mine isn't grey. She is still missing but I am now having to resign myself to her permanent loss. Thanks for trying to help.
