Voting :Know your District Number!
We just got back. Man -WOW-A lot of people showed up at 6am.
We got there at 6:05am and got out at exactly 6:55am.
We didn't know what our District number was when we got there (others didn't know theirs either) and we stood in the wrong line.
We were in line for District 19 when we should have been in the District 15 line. #-o
I had to walk back home to look it up online while my husband stood in line.
We didn't have our paper with us only our licenses. I ended up remembering where I put his paper that had the district #on it though so didn't need to get online.

here's a poll-finder for NY. your polling place will represent several districts, so remember that number to avoid annoyance.

I waited a little over an hour, but it was worth the wait. There was so much energy in the line, it was GREAT!

I got off lucky! I had printed out my info yesterday and took it with me. I got there at about 6:45 and was out by 6:55. Fuck, I even made it to work 25 minutes early.

I got to my polling place at 6:05 AM. So much confusion. People trying to cut the line. Finally got out at 6:40 AM.
I think people who don't have jobs or school should not be allowed to vote until after 10 AM. -
went with my other half who went to the information table to find out our election district (ED).
in at 6.15 and out by 6.50 It was very energetic especially considering it was so damn early!
those poll workers are something else.. they were there at 5.30 and the woman i spoke with said they were told to expect to be there until midnight. -

Makes sense, since anyone who's on line at 9pm gets to vote. -
Thanks for the heads up on the District #, it saved me standing in a line!

You're welcome.
