New to Prospect Heights

Hey all,

This may be premature but I'll be signing my lease soon for a new place in Prospect Heights. I'm moving from the upper west side (please! not in the face!) so I'm somewhat familiar with nyc in general but not Brooklyn whatsoever.

Any recommendations as far as conveniences like laundry, groceries, etc?
Same for ISP, or anything else ya can think of! What places do I just have to visit when I first move in?

    A good place to start is by doing a seach on this board for things like: coffee house, laundromat, internet provider.... Lots of these basic things come up numerous times and you'll probably find your answers.

    Nah, ya haven't scared me off just yet. Just been packing/watching west wing instead of checking the board every five minutes. I'll try to do better here on out :)
