Bars with private rooms? — Brooklynian

Bars with private rooms?

Can anyone recommend a bar in the Park Slope area that has a seperate area for a birthday party? It won't be a huge amount of people (around 30), but I'd like it to be a bar and not a restaurant. I'd really appreciate any ideas.

My brother had a birthday party in the back room of Loki a few years ago. Good times were had by all.
  • the royale has a separate back room. good luck!
  • both the Royale and Loki are great choices.
    Loki's got a dedicated hostess
i think Royale is serve yourself
    i think...
  • You can probably talk to the owner at Royale and see if he can get you a waitress if that is what you are looking for. I had a party at Loki and while this is not my usual spot, if you are into the comfy couch scene it would work. And the owner/manager is really nice and accomodating. You can also talk to the fellas at Black Sheep and see about renting out the whole bar (it is really small). Those guys are new and could use the business to jumpstart there spot. They are in the midst of putting a foosball table in downstairs. Hope that helps!
  • Bar Reis on 5th Ave and 6th St also has a private room.
  • Does anyone know Black Sheep's phone #, or do they have a website?

    120" projection screen!!!!
    *sigh*
  • The Park Slope Ale House on 6th Ave and 5th Street rents out their basement level room. It has a pool table, couches, maybe a tv. Not posh, not disgusting, probably very cheap.
