6:30PM @ Pacific Standard on 4th Ave btw St Marks and Bergen
    Sounds likes a destination.
I will likely arrive with dog, tie him up out front, chug a beer, then walk with dog home.

I've seen dogs in there before, you might be able to get him in.
  • No Pacific Standard for me. I guess I'll see you guys another night.

I thought you meant you knew they had happy hour until 7P for sure, but after that didn't know since it is a special occasion. I believe you if you were saying they definitely do not have 7p+ happy hour.

  • We could go to hof after pacific standard if people really want to stay out late, but my weekly supply of books and tea just arrived so it probably will not include me. David Sedaris and a nice cupper is the best way to celebrate.
  • Are you a Brit now?

the hof happy hour ends at 7 fo sho.

Books, tea and David Sedaris. Not ambiguous at all.

I can't stay out super later either.

and the hof is a hike from pacific standard. like...20 blocks and two aves. thats no joke.
  • There is a tea bag joke in here somewhere.............
  • I don't like tea bags, I use a reusable strainer.

And so everyone is showing up at Pacific Standard around 630? Or are the hof separatists still holding out?
  • here's the plug to lurkers and newbies:

If you'd like to meet the frequent posters (aka misfits) you are welcome to join us. See you at after 6:30 tonight.

Newbies and lurkers, I know the above is hard to resist, but you really want to come to Pacific Standard.
  • Whatever, I increasingly don't care. This has been dragged out too long. I'll be at pacific standard at 6:30 and if anyone wants the moug to make an appearance south side, text me.

Edit: Sorry, that may have been a little bitchy.
  • Whynot - you edited!!!!!!!!!!

Plus Margot will most likely go and she's waay hotter than me.
  • its true, I edited.

I felt more competitive after I wrote it. But how does one compete with getting lucky?

....does Margot know you write these things?
  • Stupid Mougar told her the other night.

But no, not all of them. Shhhh!
  • Would love to join y'all but I'm celebrating with pals in East Village after work. If you're still out at 10.30-ish, I'd join you for a swiftie before heading home....
  • I am just leaving work now but have no idea if you guys are still at pacific standard. One of you losers have to give me your digits at some point.

its like a mac and cheese but with tons of garlic and cooked red onions. its fucking amazing and the "mac" is sort of a bread dough consistency but is the size and shape(ish) of rotini. Just do it.
  • What an awesome day filled with hope and inspiration. I was glued to the set pretty much all day enjoying the events. I know President Obama, Michelle and the Bidens are tired. There was a difference in the air when I ran out for the news. People were smiling, friendly and just had a bounce in their step.I loved the gown Michelle wore to the ball but Jill Bidens gown was gorgeous as well , especially the color.I loved when they danced to at last but can someone tell me what some of the performers were doing there, namely Shakira. I luv her but that song sucked in my opinion. Everyone looked great but Alicia Keys dress was interesting.Robin from Good Morning America looked fantastic as well. Awesome day, awesome night. My prayers are with Sen. Kennedy. Was it me or did Bill Clinton look mad as hell walking towards the entrance to his seat at the swearing in ceremony?
