My building is shaking

Oohhh weird!! I'm by the Bloomberg building on the 29th FL and I barely see our fake trees on the deck moving.
-
So windy this morning my skirt was blowing up. And, um, I STILL haven't done laundry soooooooooooooooooo...........
-
really tall skyscrapers are actually built to bend a little bit when the wind is really strong.
-
my apartment building sounds like its about to fall down. I have to go to the grocery store and am not stoked.
-
Let me guess, you are at 1 Penn Plaza?
It totally sounds like the creaking hull of a ship, and I have never been so seasick in my life as that one windy afternoon I temped there. -

Yup, 1 Penn. I'm not doing to well....so weird. Everyone around me is laughing at me because they're not feeling it and I can't believe they're not!.

I'm turning green! -
whatchuwant, i worked in numerous buildings that moved when it was windy. freaky.
carmen, you're more than welcome to ditch your errand and work and come on my adventure -
-
am i risking my life going to find 2nd hand cashmere?
-
Just don't wear loose clothing and maybe put on some sunglasses to keep all the flying dirt out of your eyes. It may be windy but the temperature is above 50 so the wind isn't so painful.
-
then i'm heading out to look for treasures
-
i'm by grand central - our building is creaking as well. yiiiikes!
-
I been looking out my window and there's a guy walking into the strong wind for the last 5 min. and hasn't gone anywhere and i don't think he's a mime .
-
there's glass flying off of the BofA tower...again.
-
My whole backyard table + umbrella is on its side. I'm not even going to bother putting it right until the wind stops
-
yikes.

I hope it's not broken - that's my outdoor virtual office! -
mine too!
-
Some old rigging just came off one of my buildings and broke a few windows. Fun.
-
I used to work on the 85th floor at the WTC - you could see the water in the toilets sloshing around!

When it gets nice out I am parking my ass in your backyard and making it my office as well. You get no say in this matter. -
except you don't know where she lives

except I think she might actually have told me at some point in PM. We discussed doing this before. -

I'm there! I'm so ready for warm weather, I miss working outside but I dont think my wifi signal will reach my (shared) backyard in the apt I live in now... -
not only does my wifi signal reach, but I have one of the longest network cables i've ever seen just in case it craps out. Plus, an umbrella to make enough shade to work.
throw in some cute waiters serving me margaritas and it almost makes working for living bearable ;-) -
i can bring the frozen margarita machine
