    It wouldn't have been nearly as weird if he were merely using a sock puppet to make personal attacks 'undetected'--what made it really bizarre is that he was having conversations with himself. :-s

    to start, I post under Hamilton and only Hamilton.

    And for FWIW,we have three computers in my residence and if a member of my family decided to post on this board as the Duke Of Windsor, is that a problem, or is there a one voice per family rule.

    Obamanut was advised if he had a problem with the Duke postings to address it directly to Duke, which he did not.

    I hope this clears up the misconception about a duel identity posting and will allow Obamanut to go back to playing with his sock puppet.

    There is no rule against multiple accounts per household, nor is there even a rule against multiple identities for an individual. However, Obamanut's points about the context of the posts by "Duke of Windsor" are only supported by the fact that they're coming from your IP. It might not meet a "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard, but it would certainly meet a "preponderance of the evidence" standard. But I guess that it is possible that someone in your household periodically logs on to agree with you right after you've posted, yet has never posted about anything else.

    I post under my own name , but someone who is as bitchy as you have a hard time accepting that, so whine on small man.

    here, here! this is exactly why i barely contribute to this site anymore -- some of the biggest voices on Brooklynian these days are just so mean! it's tiring.
