Has anyone tried Salud on Ave H (near Q train)
My, my, oh my.
This is has to be one of the best smoothie/juice joints I've ever frequented. Scratch that, it is the best. I cant comment much upon the grub, but virtually every drink I've had has been an A+ winner. So fresh, so good. And the staff is a generally helpful and cheerful bunch, which is always good.
If smoothie/juice/health places are your bag, I recommend checking Salud out. It's exactly what Midwood needed (not trash like Bally's on Newkirk--is that even still in business?).
Drink on.

Subject: SALUD is awesome!
YES!! I second that! SALUD is the real deal. An OASIS in a neighborhood with very little options for healthy & delicious goodies. They have a great selection of fresh organic juices and smoothies. And I can vouch for their grub. It's also as good. Try their "Amazin' Grilled Cheese" or the Mexican Chicken Torta, both quite exquisite. They have tons a little homemade treats to try on a cold winter day.
Recently I've been loving their Mexican hot chocolate!! They make their own chocolate from scratch. It's unbelievable. Rich and frothy. Mmmm...
Def a must-visit!!
