Bridge Cleaners / King Garment care have been around for about 30 years.
They have some of the finest tailors on site who have serviced some of the most famous costume designers.
I use them often after they were able to convert a mod jacket for me into a much shorter version (the complex detailing made it difficult for other dry cleaners to attempt.)
Ask for Rich (the owner)
He will help you personally to ensure your garment is properly cared for. -
i second rachel rae's opinion of bridge cleaners. while you'll have to travel to downtown brooklyn, the quality of their work makes it worth the hassle.

Many thanks, Rachel Rae and femmedada -- will take you up on your recommendation. Much appreciated. It's a really special garment and I can't wait to have it altered to fit.
