Don't forget "uneducated." Those are some ignorant bitches on that show. Did you see the one with the fat girl who made her future husband go to fat camp while she sat on the sidelines eating doughnuts?
OMG!! I am watching that one now! What a bitch!!!!! She chides him every five seconds. She is so rude and ugly! How is she married and I'm not? Yes, I know, I'm too good. 8) -
Rave: Al di la, nuff said

I am in Bklyn, I was just at my mom's for the night grabbing some things I had left there. She's staying here now and we went to al di la tonight. It was a whole lot of wow!

Mougie's mommy is there! I need to talk to that woman about your level of cleanliness.

She remarked several times on how clean and clutter free I am and showed me how I can clean my blinds a lot more easily.
The only real clutter I have is the TV area because the stand isn't quite big enough for everything, but it doesn't look that bad. -
Al di la does rock. And really glad you were able to get a date.
-
Rave:
52 degrees tomata!
:sunny: :flower: :sunny: -
Rave: Al di La
Another rave: Brook Vin. Went there at 7:00 and snagged one of the last 2 chairs at the bar...left at 11:30 and it was packed -
How did you stay there that long? I've been maybe half a dozen times but longer than a couple glasses of wine and a snack, or an hour and a half, and the bill is a million dollars.

we had 4 glasses of wine each (hey, we were there for 4 1/2 hours), but were charged for 3 each + we had 2 tartines (very delicious). Bill was $80, which I thought was reasonable. -
While it's a lot closer, do you like Brookvin better than Jakewalk or the one (total?) Up fifth? I loooooove Jakewalk for the non meat snacks and proximity to another fave bar- bar tabac..
-
Mougar what did you have at Al Di La?? Details please!
I've been a few times, the gnocci in sage butter, duck in wine sauce?, the scalopini, mummmm all so good.
Scarlet arn't you going to drunk drink brunch with Margo today?? -

I like Jakewalk, but it's not convenient.
I only went to total wine bar once and had a really bad experience with the bartender there.....although I've heard good things, I just got turned off by my crappy night. -
Started with the carpaccio and winter salad, then the veal short rib with fried sweetbreads and malfatti with sage butter and ended with the panecotta, rhubarb and biscotti dessert.
All of it was amazing, and especially the veal. The fat was so buttery and the meat just pulled apart beautifully. -
