FYI- The formal announcement
Daver and I are getting married on October 10, 2009.
I want to thank Brooklynian as this is where we "met". Actually, it was the 1st Midnight Bike Ride last year that was our first IRL meeting. He was super shy, completely different than his online persona, but I forced him to talk! Our first date wasn't until a couple of months after, but we quickly fell in love and realized that we couldn't ever part.
He's an amazing guy (and dad!), and I know he's going to make me an awesome wife.

And the ceremony should be on bikes...or computers...or both! Congrats! -
But why has Daver disappeared from the Board?
-
Congratulations Whachu & Daver!!! What wonderful news!
....so I have to ask - is this the first Brooklynian marriage?? Definitely not the first hook up, but marriage?? -
OMG!! Congratulations to you both!! I am so excited for you two! We are all invited, right???
And, yes, where has Daver been? -
Wow, congrats! It almost makes me want to show up to the next Brooklynian get-together (but I'm probably 10 years older than everyone else on here).
Best of luck to you both! -
Thanks so much, everyone. Yea, I'm really excited and happy. I'm pretty sure we're the first Brooklynian wedding!

And Danielle-you'd be surprised- not everyone's stupid young. Hell, I'm not! Daver's a few years younger (which he just LOVES pointing out to me on a regular basis, the wise-ass).
Stacey- YES!
As for where Daver's been...ask your Mods. -
Congratulations! Smooches!
-
Whatchuwant, you sound so happy! Best of everything to you both. (I met my wonderful wife online, too!)

You probably aren't danielle! i am in my 40s and I know a few others on here are in their 40s also, and, we won't even mention how old booklaw is, oy!
Best of luck to you both!
BTW, I had met Daver and whatchuwant in person, they seemed like a very nice couple and are not kids either.
Ask the mods about Daver, huh?? -
Woohoo! I'm so happy for the both of you -- congratulations.
And don't ever forget, that marriage is a federally mandated contract between two people, one man and one women, who solemnly pledge to uphold certain deeply held dollar-denominatable values such as major tax benefits, health insurance sharing, immigration rights, joint title, and so on. -
wow congrats
. wish you guys all the fun and joy.
