Biking in Greenwood Cemetary?

Exactly. The bikers in Prospect Park are so awful that I'd rather a blanket ban that includes me and my biking friends who would be there to visit our dead friend, than face recreational swarms. I don't think you can effectively sift out different kinds of bike riders, by purpose, speed or outfit. I'm curious if they *ever* allowed bikes, and instituted a ban because of bad behavior. Biking is of course a great mode of transportation.



The trolley thing doesn't seem like such a big deal to me. I think the difference is that they are there to look at an historic cemetery. A whizzing pack of spandex is not. If I were Greenwood, I wouldn't want to get into splitting hairs about #s in a group of bikes or whatever. Can you imagine the signage, and the ensuing ridicule?
