  • Carmen wrote: Rant/rave: eric keeps asking me who I'm having over for dinner tonight (meaning you assholes.) Apparently I am now required to host or bring him to sunday night dinners every week. So rave that we love you, rant that I has no monies to feed you all.

    MEXICAN EASTER FTW.
    Rave: that is totally sweet.
    Rave: weekly sunday dinner parties.

    :thumright:
  • Wooo hooo Carmen's making us sunday dinners!
    I'll bring the wine. :P
  • Rave: Have a ladder now!
Rave: Had a nice lunch out.
Rant: No excuse not to finish painting.
Rant: Sheep Station is cash only - but of course they have an ATM machine. With a $2 fee. Bastids.
  • Rave: Finally starting have enough material write a proposal

Rant: I fear the proposal will have to be re-written 22222 times because the boss is afraid of not getting the funds.

Rave: You know one of these is going in the shed....

  • Rave: Mrs. Whynot offered Whynot's painting services! 'cause he's got nothing to do!

please ask Mrs. Whynot if he can do my windows next weekend?
  • False

I am dreaming of table saws (rave) and writing a proposal (neutral).

...but was that just an offer from the elusive Flexi to actually meet her?

Rave: Are Flexi and Jackie O the same person?
  • I have (almost) no shame. Almost anybody who will clean my windows is welcome here
  • Oh, no. She did offer your services. I have it in writing!

"Mrs. Whynot commented on your status:

"Also call whynot. He has time on his hands."
  • Flexichick wrote: I have (almost) no shame. Almost anybody who will clean my windows is welcome here
....hmmm, how long do I get to loaf afterward in front of the famous TV? do I get wine?

I suppose its better than removing dead squirrel.
  • The person who removed my dead squirrel did it out of the goodness of his heart. No wine, no tv. I'm just sayin' :-)
  • ....he is bigger guy than I.

    just sayin :)
  • VoodooNYC wrote: [quote=anthonycm]i actually picked up a Pepsi Natural today at Krupa Grocery. It was awful! I can't stress how bad it tasted. If it was the regular Pepsi, but with real sugar, it would be fine. However, they changed all the ingredients. Sigh. Now I'm back to searching for the Mexican/Jewish Coke. Let me know if anyone knows where to find it.
Ya know, when I read the description I thought they might be playing around with the original recipe. Huge mistake. How much was it? I feel like I owe you a few bucks. :)

Rave: I got the last two kosher Cokes at the Associated on 5th Ave yesterday. Suck it, high fructose corn syrup.
  • I found them yesterday at Key Foods on 11th Ave, but they were Diet Caffeine Free Cokes (with the yellow tops)
  • Rave: one of my best dye jobs yet (on my sistards head)

  • Oooo pretty!!!!!!!

Yeah I lost more hair than she has at my haircut on Saturday.

I usually keep my hair shorter than hers is now. Im so sick of this long craptastic hair.
  • Mamacita wrote: You mean the midget pleasure palace!?!?!
Rave: I think Tom Waits must've been living next to Mamacita and Papi Chulo when he wrote this song.

Heard this on the radio yesterday and immediately thought of the midget pleasure palace!
  • rave; I thought I had to renew my car registration this year but apparently its every two years. hizzah!
  • Rant: Working until 2am, getting three hours of sleep and back up at 6am to be at work by 7. No raves coming to me at the moment.
  • WTF??? They don't even let you sleep in?? After all the work you did??
    Bastards!

    How about overtime rave?
    Free dinner rave?
    Car service home rave?

In return for signing over the rights of my unborn child, but yeah, there's that.

    RANT: *yawn*
Rave: Still going to happy hour.
  • Yay!!! DM said she missed you!
  • Rave: The Slumdog soundtrack. This shiz rules
Rant: client is going live today, its going to be a long day when California wakes up...
Rave: I think this might be one of the smoother golives ive experienced so maybe I won't be working till midnight.
  • Rave: happy hours with hot (female) bartenders.
Rant: Carni drooling all over my iPhone because he wants one so bad. At least it was clean in the morning (although somewhat sticky).
  • Rant: Voodoo thinks I want an iPhone and don't have one, but I don't want an AT&T iPhone, I want a Verizon one. And I'm not willing to put up with shitty phone service until it comes out.
  • Rave: Not having a cell phone since 2004.
  • I had T-Mobile for 10+ years and never had a problem with their service. I don't think AT&T is any worse. I have signal no matter where I've gone so far. The iphone rules!
  • Rave: A picture of Carni's crappy-ass cell phone taken last night. But keep telling yourself you don't want an iPhone, my friend. Eventually you might even believe it. :)
