Yes. Be true to what you are.
And animals other than humans are still not people.Danny Hellman wrote: No brain, no nervous system, no suffering. Eat them.
A brain and nervous system are necessary but not sufficient for suffering. -
[quote=Mamacita]But I don't want to eat my vegetables!!!
I want to eat this!
That looks awesome, Mama.
I got ribs for dinner last night delivered from Two Boots. Surprisingly good! -
That's fine, but what will crying about it (not meant to be towards you JF) on a message board going to do about it. Don't attack meat eaters on a message board, go after those companies, go after the meat factories and suppliers.
What gets me is people that are all self righteous on a message board but are all talk and no activism. Go out there and physically do something. Fight those companies. -

We should do Dim Sum again soon. -

Siu Mai contain both shrimp and pork! What could be better than that? -
Mummm shrimp, the pork of the sea.
-
We should start having pork happy hours.

Y'all come to Mexican Easter at Carmen's. I'm bringing four pounds of pulled pork shipped in from this place in Memphis.

I would totally be there, except that it's Mrs. C and my Anniversary. If there's any left (almost unimaginable), I call dibs! -
Would people be interested in a Brooklynian Churrascaria outing? Maybe Plataforma?

Do you really have to ask? I'm in. -

YES YES YES!!
I missed Dim Sum and I must atone for my sins

OK, we can continue discussion of the Churrascaria outing here:

Thank you Danny, for starting this thread and bringing all of us meat-eaters together to eat vast quantities of meat! -

No, you have it backwards. The source of the problem is the demand, not the suppliers. Drug cartels exist because people want drugs. Hormel, Tyson, McDonalds, et al exist because foolish ghouls drool over the flesh of murdered animals.

Mmmm, delicious drugs.
-
You can't ever win an argument with someone who refuses to consider all sides. *sigh*
-
I think we should legalize all drugs.
Bush wouldn't have started this damn war if he was on heroin. Come to think of it, he wouldn't have been elected. Problem solved. -
I just hope Danny isn't mentioning dogs 'cause this is going to help Filipinos. (Am I the only one who noticed that?)
-

^^ Yay ,verily.
FYI - Carnivore is not a ghoul . He's a big nasty bacon whore. -
how come no one has added that drugs + animals = really big tasty animals?
We should get the drug cartels and the meat cartels together, maybe then they would meet our demand. -
whynot_31 wrote: how come no one has added that drugs + animals = really big tasty animals?
Um...they already do. Why do you think ten year old girls are wearing bras already? -

Or, herbed bacon brownie?

From http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/murder
murder
Main Entry:
1mur·der
Pronunciation:
ˈmər-dər
Function:
noun
1: the crime of unlawfully killing a person especially with malice aforethought
An animal is not a person. Your hyperbolic rhetoric is ludicrous. The only "foolish" one is the one who can't recognize the difference between an animal and a person. -

I just realized that my tired line "alt-tab is your friend at work" line could become "Foolish ghoul". Thanks Danny! -
I agree that animals aren't people. However, I still think that all living things are sentient (maybe not Whynot) and don't deserve to live in the conditions that they're made to live in. There are other ways to get that point across rather then calling people who eat meat murders and showing pictures of animals being slaughtered. Educate, foo'! Locate alternatives such as small organic farms who use humane methods to slaughter livestock and point your meat-eating friends in that direction, form petitions calling for large corporations to use humane methods instead of their regular methods, write letters to your congressmen, senators, etc. No one wants to learn anything or listen to you when you're insulting them.
-
actually, we are going to enjoy meat because of him.
So, he should keep it up.
Ana, stop making me look up words. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/sentient
I perceive that I am a genius. I perceive that thousands of people benefit from my inane posts. I perceive I am welcome on Chicklynian. I am sentient.
Howdy, Stranger!
