who knew franklin had such great shops?

i live in williamsburg, the south streets to be exact, so i don't venture to north greenpoint all too often. big mistake. traveling down franklin street i found some of the best shops brooklyn has to offer. my new favorite...dalaga. located at 150 franklin street (between greenpoint and kent). this store has everything a girl could want. whymsical decorating. eclectic style. moderate prices. lot's of beautiful spring dresses and tops. CHEAP denim...which i never seem to find these days. AND the workers and owners are actually nice people. another thing that's hard to come by these days. normally i wouldn't gush about a clothing boutique like this...but damn it...this place deserves it. i totally recommend stopping in. plus it's right by the pencil factory (a great bar). apparently a sale is starting on the 18th of april as well. check out the website for what's in store (dalaganyc.com). but i think it's worth a trip over there.

  • That doesn't sound like a shill at all...
  • Right. There are all these great shops, so I just had to come here and register a new account to tell everyone about them in my very first post! But still, I'll actually mention only one of them. And conveniently I happen to know that they will soon have a sale. And even though I just happened upon the place while "traveling down Franklin Steet," I made a note of the specific address and as soon as I got home I checked to see if they have a website, so I can provide that url.
