Does anyone know how Dill Pollen is used? I'm thinking Pitu, Sweet Tea, Mamacita & Carnivore might know. But I will take anyone's advice or knowledge.

  • I must admit that I have never even heard of dill pollen.
  • like other pollens it should be used at the end of cooking, or as a garnish. if you like the flavor of dill, it should be good with fish and potatoes (it's much milder than the reg. spice)
  • How well does it go sprinkled on canned chicken?
  • not as good as chocolate covered bacon, but it'll do in a pinch
  • yeah, I'm thinking like fennel pollen that Mario Batali is so fond of, you dust at the end for that little extra layer of sabrosita
    something about ephemeral flavor . . .
