  • Something has come up at home and I will not be joining you - bummer! Have fun!
  • Well since I finally logged on and saw this before it happened, I hope to be able to join everyone this evening.
  • Oh of course you go to the thing I can't! Boo!
  • I can't, feeling like I have a cold coming on. Better stay home and get better. My throat is really sore and not for the right reasons!!!

That sounded all kinds of wrong! LOL.
  • ^^^ hee hee I said that for you and scarlett, my dirty minded soul sisters :mrgreen:
  • Heeeeeeey. I am the epitome of innocence and light.
  • Oh dear. Just got home and too tired to go out now. Lame, i know.

    Have fun!
  • I still can't feel my face.
  • Things I learned tonight:

1 ) I was not born to bowl.

2 ) Christina often bowls in spite of any bumpers present.

3 ) Christina's dad is gracious and walks softly but carries an occasional secret weapon.

4 ) Whynot is the perfect gentleman for being just as erratic as I am, while at the same time often still being so much better.

5 ) Mrs. Whynot has an impressive bank shot.

6 ) Brooklynpotter may often be cited for surgical precision and has the distinct honor of powers conjured over nothing less than the MTA.

7 ) Carny is a firm believer in X Technologies. And he was robbed on at least one occasion. And he can roll with scoring us longhand in a pinch.

8 ) Drkman is perhaps the most sportsmanlike, gentlemanly person that has ever utterly crushed me in sport.

    9) Melody may occasionally end in discord, but that's nothing to get in the way of your average Brooklynian.

10 ) Pete the bartender is the biggest fan of...all things Pete the bartender. But in the meantime he pours an extremely generous (if not entirely flammable) drink.
  • Well captured. We need to do this again.

BTW I will be keeping a list of people who regularly say that they're coming but then flake out at the last minute. You know who you are. Your punishment shall be horrible.
  • We should make such people buy the first round.

...or produce a note from work that they could not attend.

Anyone can get a MD note, those are worthless.
  • Some peoples didn't show up last minute cuz they realized that Why_not , Carnivore and Jeffrey were gonna be there. THAT'S WHY.Yeah.Ha.

I blame you then. I can't fucking move. My back is so fucking locked up, it took me 10 minutes to get out of bed.

    ok, but *i* was there!
  • I learned a lot last night especially about transcendental mediation of one point in time with a pixel that contains all colors known to man that will help to manifest the mind and show the similarities that all things are just remakes of other things. And you know what, after a couple of drinks I was understanding it.

Thanks guys and gals for a nice night out. It was a pleasure.

Oy. Glad you had a good time. I really wanted to go! But the private war between whynot and me combined with no one else offering to let me know where you guys were discouraged me.

However, I am a FAN of punishment, so bring it on!
  • I am not a fan of special invitations - so if you can't make it because of that that's your loss ;-)
  • christina, where are the pics????
  • On my camera. I need to sleep sometimes.

I don't even know what that means.

But truthfully I had something to take care of at home.

We were on our best behavoir. ...we followed all of the bowling alleys rules, and have been invited to to host league nights.

...and, for the record, the scoring system was clearly rigged: I scored lowest.
  • I still not sure if I have the beginnings of a cold or just allergies. But I totally needed to rest up last night. Especially because I'm leaving for vacation! Woot!
  • I still think that your scores were low because you bowled with your left hand.
  • Christina wrote: I still think that your scores were low because you bowled with your left hand.
That's a theory. ...but not one I subscribe to.

I'm blaming the scoring system and the balls.

Tthe bartenders hair cut may have also played a role. Classic.
  • look at the scoreboard, for a brief moment in time I was actually in second place in my lane!

    ...fleeting.
