Cool, I'm in and I'll drive.
-
Sounds amazing but as I work on Saturdays, I am out.
-
Can we do a Sunday? May works for me too and it might be cooler, weather wise.
-
I'm interested. Sat or Sunday, weekends of May 23 or 30, or June 13 or 20. I can drive up to 3 passengers.
-
I could be down for this; BBQ and hiking being among my two favorite things. Would be willing to drive, too.
-
We can do Sundays, but if we do May I can't come (not that that should stop you)
-
What's with the hiking shit? And you're not going to wear a Star Trek uniform, are you?
-
No, this year we decided on Spongebob Squarepants.

Did you survey anyone in addition to Em? -

I can't do May either. Saturday vs. Sunday doesn't matter to me, but it helps if we decide as early as possible so I can make sure I'm not working that day. -

Can I borrow your phaser? -
I love hiking and camping. I'm wine tasting in LI on the 13th. Still room if anyone wants to go!
-
Sounds great!
All dates work for me so I haven't voted. But the sooner the date is set the better.
(I have a pal from outtatown who is potentially visiting. I shall bring them with if they're up for it, but I think nature might scare them....! They haven't decided what date to come yet. I'm giving you all this information as I don't want to end up on Christina's flake list she said she was compiling.)Christina wrote: BTW I will be keeping a list of people who regularly say that they're coming but then flake out at the last minute. You know who you are. Your punishment shall be horrible.

haha! I love that some people actually take me seriously. Or pretend to. Thank you!

its the fear you instill.... -
I'm interested. I think I can do any of those dates, but 6/6 is probably least feasible for me.
-
Sounds like fun.

Dont worry I am thinking about going and I do not hike. I will watch everyone's things and sit on my lounge chair and drink while you all work up an appetite! -

In that case, I'm IN! I don't "hike." I might stroll. I may even meander. I will definitely stumble to the cooler. I do not hike.
Depending on when, I can take one-two life sized humans in my car. This depends on if the boi is going to come with as Oscar will be in attendance. And he gets his own seat in the car. Usually the front seat. Don't try to fight it. -
For the more adventurous, I was thinking about biking up to Bear Mountain and getting a ride back if I'm too tired. Anyone up for that?

Crackhead. -

No. That would not leave enough time for food and booze. -

Of course it would. It's about 50-60 miles, so even going really slow and taking breaks that's only 5 hours. Leave at 7AM, get there at 12PM. And the more you bike the more you'll be able to eat. -

Leaving at 7am? Haven't you met everyone here? It's almost impossible getting everyone out for dim sum before noon. -

This actually did cross my mind too!
...but then I came to the same assumption that Carni did:Carnivore wrote: No. That would not leave enough time for food and booze.
Nearer the time if you are still going to cycle I may reconsider.... -
You are all crazy. This is about food and drinks and people talking BS with each other.
What we need is a DATE, then you can all join however you want to, by bike, helicopter, unicorn or however else you prefer.
I will most likely have car access + 1 huge dog in attendance, if not 2. -

Oscar will have a friend!

Is this a camping thing? Or are there hotels? I'm not camping, either.
-
No, but here's an idea...

I vote unicorn, preferably pink.
