Carpentry or woodworking space? — Brooklynian

Carpentry or woodworking space?

amirrorcrackd
edited November -1 in Prospect Heights
I was told by a colleague about spaces in Brooklyn available for rent for carpentry and woodworking. These would be spaces that include with the rental the usage of tools, etc. Does anyone know anything about this or is anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

  • Try also http://treehouse-nyc.com/

There are a bunch of woodworkers that have shops at 361 Stagg St, go knock on some doors

Check the buletin boards at some of the local hardwood dealers like http://www.adriaticwood.com/ and rosenzweiglumber.com

Take a walk through the Navy Yard, I rented some bench space there once by running accross a for rent sign on a door

Of course check Craigslist, you will often find stuff there. Check in Real Esates and Artists and search for key words woodworking "wood working" "bench space"

Check the classifieds section of http://woodweb.com/
