I need rental broker help!!!

Hey,

I'm moving down to Brooklyn from upstate and need a good rental broker in Prospect Heights (if there is such a thing as a good broker).

I am looking for a 2 or 3 bed, 1 or 2 bath new building or very recently remodeled with some outdoor space or a large terrace.

I have two very well behaved large dogs so I need someone that will work with me on that challenge I can pay up to $3000 as long as utilities are included, a little less if not. I don't care about parking, but need to be within about 6 or 7 blocks of the 4/5 train.

Any recommendations on who is good or really bad would be helpful!

Thanks

  • I don't know any good ones per se, but Rapid Realty is among the worst
  • Any thoughts on Corcoran?
  • The cool things about brokers is that you can waste as much of their time as you want -- you don't have to pay unless they help you find an apartment you want. So talk to a bunch and let em show you around. (Corcoran has been okay... they're all about the same...)

ps: also check the New York Times real estate listings... the web site has a great property search...
