Prospect Place fundraising stoop sale this Sat
The Prospect Place Block Association (Flatbush to Underhill)
is coordinating a stoop sale on our blocks
Participants are encouraged to donate a portion of their proceeds to the legal fund of Develop Don’t Destroy Brooklyn, to support the law suits challenging the proposed “Atlantic Yards” mega development by Forest City Ratner. The block association is one of over 20 community groups who have joined the lawsuit challenging the adequacy of the environment impact statement submitted for the proposal. Recommended donation is 20% to 100% of your proceeds.
We have done a great job bringing community control back to Prospect Heights, but the fight is NOT OVER YET.
Date: Saturday, May 9th 10 am – 2 pm*
Place: Prospect Pl. between Flatbush & Underhill
Contact us: If you are interested in participating, please email us at [email protected] or leave a message at 718-638-8730. We can include your address on a flier we will be posting Friday!

BUMP!
By the way, if you want to have a stoop sale and keep the income (at least temporarily before it goes to pay your bills), you are warmly welcomed to participate. -
And if you're looking for a last-minute Mother's Day gift, come by 221 Prospect Place. I'll be out there with my "Nuttree Designs" silver, pearl and gemstone jewelry, gently priced and a portion of the proceeds will go to DDDB.....hope to see you there!
Howdy, Stranger!
