Unfortunately, I don't think that bringing up these quotes is going to in any way absolve Dick Cheney. The way you are presenting it here, it sounds as if the Dem's were trying to push us into an invasion of Iraq from 1998 on.

It was the Bush/Cheney administration that got us into this war and it was the Bush/Cheney administration that bungled the entire thing right from the beginning and no amount of spin is going to change that truth.
